About boisehawksradio

During the summer, I am currently the Director of Broadcasting for the Boise Hawks, the Short-Season Single-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs – and also a HAM (Hawks Advanced Media) Insider. I am also the sports information director and associate athletic director at The College of Idaho, a small liberal arts college outside of Boise. My wife, Liza, was official scorer for the Hawks from 2003-05, while my son P.J., who is about to turn three, loves baseball – and espeically Humphrey the Hawk. This summer, I will be broadcasting my 400th Northwest League game – which will allow me to pass Rob Simpson as the all-time leader in Hawks broadcasts.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, something that doesn’t happen often during the summer…I enjoy sports and playing poker, a good hamburger, and have gotten addicted to Qdoba Naked Burritos and Virginia Ham Subs from Subway
